April Taylor is an American country singer. Her debut album is titled I Wanna Live Like That. One of the songs on the album, "Hero at Home", is a tribute to the wife of a U.S. soldier sent abroad. She has played the song at various events for service family members. Since 2005, Taylor has toured throughout the U.S. Taylor first gained attention through a local radio competition. She and two other finalists were selected to perform for an audience of 3000. She was the winner of the contest. Plateau Music signed her to their label. April Taylor's single "I Wanna Live Like That" debuted at 84 and then jumped to 64 in the second week, making it the second highest debut song of that week. Early life: Taylor was born in Bristol, Tennessee, where she graduated from Bristol Tennessee High School. While being raised in Bristol, she regularly sang in church.
