The Abrams Brothers Biography

Kingston, Ontario, natives and Americana/bluegrass trio, the Abrams Brothers group are comprised of 18-year-old John (vocals, guitar), 16-year-old James (vocals, fiddle) and 18-year-old cousin Elijah (bass). In 2005, the group made their Grand Ole Opry debut and the same year were awarded emerging artist of the year by the Canadian Bluegrass Music Awards. In 2008, the group released a Bob Dylan and Arlo Guthrie tribute album, Blue on Brown, featuring Canadian artists Bruce Cockburn and Amy Milan. The group most recently recorded Coldplay's "Viva La Vida," a song Coldplay took to the top of the charts in 2008. The Abrams Brothers upcoming album of original music is expected later in 2009.
