Adam Hood Biography

Adam Hood is a native of Opelika, Ala. Having taken up guitar at the age of 10, he started performing in church bands by 14. Two years later, he quit the football team and became a regular on the local music scene, performing gigs at the area's restaurants. He moved to Montgomery, Ala., after high school, but eventually relocated to Auburn, Ala., so he could build a college audience for his music. He saved enough money from regular gigs to record an independent album. He released an EP, 6th Street, in 2003. In 2007, he released a full-length album, Different Groove, produced by Pete Anderson and released on Little Dog Records.
