Randy Kohrs was introduced to stringed instruments in Iowa at 8 years old when his uncle pulled out a guitar. He has been performing professionally and steadily since he was 13. He moved to Nashville in 1995 and toured with the group Continental

Divide in 1998 and appeared on the band's album Feel Good Day.

In 2002, Kohrs toured the world with Dolly Parton in her band the Blueniques. He also played Dobro on Dierks Bentley's first hit, "What Was I Thinkin'," and has appeared on more than 300 studio recordings.
