The Nutty Boys Biography
The popular British pop band Madness broke up in 1986, but its members continued to resurrect the band in new forms for more than a decade thereafter. The Nutty Boys is one such resurrection. Guitarist Chris Foreman and saxophonist Lee Thompson (ex-Madmen both) recorded their first album in 1990; their band name, the Nutty Boys, had long been a nickname for the members of Madness. Crunch! was a manic, danceable synth pop album with considerably more ska flavor than the last Madness records. In 1992, the pair released an EP entitled It's OK, I'm a Policeman. ~ Darryl Cater, Rovi
