
Rissi Palmer Biography
Rissi Palmer's family moved to St. Louis when she was 12 and she grew up performing country songs by Faith Hill and Shania
Twain as a part of Hal Jackson's Talented Teens, formerly the Miss Black Teen America pageant. Those experiences led her to
join Team 11, an entertainment troupe that played for audiences including President Bill Clinton. She also sang jingles for
Barbie commercials. Later, she was a finalist in Star Search, finding support from judge Naomi Judd. In 2007, she released
her debut album on the independent label 1720 Music.
