Lead singer/songwriter and guitarist Beka wrote every song on the CD despite being half-deaf; and the band were semi-finalists in the 16th annual Billboard Magazine Worldwide Song contest, coming in 30th with "Trouble in Pants" (out of over 30,000 entries worldwide); it also won a Sonicbids national song contest- winning a club remix from Miami producer Shawn Thomas.

The band's song "Party to Crash" been added to every internet station on I-Heart radio's Clear Channel Discover New Artists program. Their song "Party to Crash" was also added to eight terrestrial broadcast stations: KAOS, 89.3 FM, Olympia, WA 89.3FM, K102 FM, Spokane, WA, and Sandpoint, ID; WMIL, 106.1 FM, Milwaukee, WI; KZBG Big Country 97 Clarkston, WA WSEK K93.9 FM and Somerset, KY.“Party 2 Crash” is on the Earl Clifton Radio show, Chesapeake, VA.; and Gog's House Party, WKKLM, 90.7 FM, Cape Cod, MA, as of Mar. 9, 2013.

Another song “Runner,” is a "Spotlight" feature WOS radio, it also plays on www.wmvys the world's largest internet radio station. Radio Lyon, France, and Pongid Radio's Top 20, along with "Billy Wayne."

Music Connection Magazine gave Beka the #1 review (competing against 10 other artists). Their 5-person roundtable noting the songs “Padlock” & “Have You Got One for Me?” American Songwriter Magazine featured the song “Hollywood with Cowboy Hats" as a Lyrics Contest Honorable Mention. Beka & the Gin Hall Hustlers have been featured in several blogs: Texas Two-Groove, Rebeka Pulley's Women in Radio, Ladies of Country Music,, and mindofBMW . DJ Rick Marshall of K102 FM in Spokane, WA, has interviewed the band, as well as Blogtalk Radio's Garrison Leykam of Connecticut.

The band played the Nashville Music Masters Showcase, for fan clubs of Joe Nichols, Emerson Drive, and Gary Allen during CMA Fest, as well as venues on the famous Broadway strip. They recorded their CD at Curb with Craig White (Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw).
