A slick, soulful performer who started singing for her supper in Oklahoma dinner clubs at age five, Brenna Williams places her performance persona somewhere between Jewel and Shania Twain and isn't far off. Extensive touring throughout the U.S. has earned Williams a strong fan base and landed her in places like the Ryman Auditorium and the island of Nassau in the Bahamas. Currently she lives in the Washington D.C. area and has been chosen as a performer for the Kennedy Center's 2000-2001 Millennium Stage Concert Series. As well as becoming an acclaimed singer, Williams has also been recognized as a songwriter by Billboard Magazine. She released her debut, Forever, on Brown Eyed Babe Records in fall 2000. ~ Zac Johnson, Rovi
