The life of this razor sharp rock and roll vagabond began in small town Port Elgin, Ontario. After picking up a guitar for the first time at the age of 23, the path of music became natural for this unsuspecting artist, prolific singer/songwriter, and magnetic performer.
As a firefighter currently residing in Uxbridge, Ontario, Brett is heading down the path of a country music artist. This Canadian super talent has rocked stages across the continent, having shared the spotlight with such revered acts as Deric Ruttan, Dallas Smith, Bobby Wills, Lindsay Broughton and, I Mother Earth, and David Wilcox. Quickly gaining momentum in becoming an All-Canadian country music star, Brett has been featured on the front page of the CCMA (Canadian Country Music Association) website and as the artist of the month in the CMAO (Canadian Country Music Association of Ontario) August 2013 newsletter.
Presently trucking down a path of country music, Brett has teamed up with of Toronto’s hottest producers, Ron Allen. Together the dynamic duo are formulating Brett’s latest solo project; a hook heavy, dance worthy, groove laden collection of edgy but relatable country hits, headed by Brett’s raspy drawl infectious lyrics, and unquestionable country groove.
Playing with some of Canada’s top musician’s, Brett has a posse of dedicated and devoted fans, and is currently hitting stages and radio stations across the country in support of the release of his hit single “From the Country” to radio in the spring of ‘13. With an exciting string of tour dates, Brett’s Canadian tour kicks off in spring ’13 and will continue through the summer and into fall, quenching the thirst for down home, bad boy, good time country music.
