From the time he was six years old growing up in North Carolina, Brian Davis was watching and learning from his father and grandfather who played the honky-tonks all across his home state. At the age of eight he got the gig of a lifetime tuning guitars for his two heroes. His mother wasn’t too thrilled with her middle child hanging out in honky-tonks, but to her credit, she didn’t discourage his pursuit of his passion. His passion brought him to Nashville and began pursuing his own country music career. Like the early days in North Carolina on the road with his two heroes he found himself meeting another hero and beginning the “apprenticeship” of a lifetime. He had the opportunity of meeting and working with THE songwriting legend Harlan Howard. Davis began honing his craft of songwriting and continued hitting the road building a solid and loyal fan base. Most recently, he has toured with Brantley Gilbert on his 2012 and 2013 “Hell On Wheels Tour” and was invited to be part of the “2013 Jägermeister Country Tour” opening for country rocker Aaron Lewis. Davis has recorded a total of six albums and released them on his own. His current album UNDER THE INFLUENCE is available on iTunes.
