I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. My music influences started at a young age and included everybody from Merle Haggard to Metallica. I have enjoyed the last thirteen years playing bass for a variety of bands. I moved to Nashville in 1995 and spent 4 years honing my craft of playing and writing. I recorded my first album with a band called Buck 50. This was an Americana/Red dirt band. We had mild success with the album. I retuned to Tulsa in summer of 1999. I joined a band called Earthbound and subsequently recorded my second album with them. This band was more of a pop-rock band with sounds like Creed and Stone Temple Pilots. In the past couple of years I have returned to my roots in Country with the new band Cactus Jones. I play bass, rhythm guitar and sing lead vocals. This is the first time in 10 years that I will be the frontman of my own band. I will be recording an album to be released later this year. I hope to someday get a song played on the radio.
