When you think about Texas Country, you think of loud, proud, beer drinking, whiskey taking, rowdy, boot stomping, good ole’ boys that just want to have a good time two-stepping with their favorite girl to some good country music.
Well Casey Daniels Band is just that, with songs about "Dirty Water," heading down a back road, running from the cops, having a "Wild Saturday," and showing Texas what it's like to get "Country Wild."
Casey Daniels Band is from Denison Texas, and got their start in April of 2013. The band consists of:
Casey Daniels – Acoustic Guitar and Vocals
Austin Caplinger - Drums
Josh Lester - Bass
Jake Stewart – Guitar
Colton O'Neill - Guitar
These five guys bring in the perfect blend of Southern Rock, Country, and that Red Dirt sound that Texas Country fans love.
Casey Daniels Band's album “Wild Saturday” was released in June of 2013 and is already becoming a favorite among country fans, with their single “Country Wild” being played on radio stations in north Texas and beyond. They also released their debut live music video of the single and are receiving great reviews from fans all over.
Wild Saturday is an album based on real life events that tell the stories about a kid that grew up in a small town in Texas. His songs cater to a wide variety of people; Casey said, “I wrote these songs for everyone; whether you are just looking for a good time, or going through some hard times, you'll relate to one of these songs that will make you look back, and reminisce on the good ole' days.”
Casey Daniels Band has a lot in store for 2014 and beyond, including the release of an E.P. expected to be out before summer of 2014, and a new single to be released along with another music video.
They've already shared the stage with many of the great Texas Country artists including Austin Allsup, Uncle Lucius, Stoney Larue, John David Kent, Jason Meadows, and Ray Wylie Hubbard. They were also named Texas Select Artist of The Month for October 2013.
