Christopher Thomas Holt, also known as ‘Chris Holt,’ was born in Dallas, TX in May of 1989. Chris grew up in a small, rural town of Canton, Texas as the only boy with three sisters. Growing up in the deeply rooted cultures of the South, he quickly developed his love for country music. After being offered a relocation package, the Holt family moved to the Big Island of Hawaii where Chris spent the next five years working countless hours on his music with the goal of becoming a successful musician. Along with his older sister, Hollee Winder, Chris formed the band 'Stateline', which gave them a platform to begin performing at various venues around the islands of Hawaii as well as Texas. While performing in Hawaii, Grammy Award Winning Producer/Recording Artist, Charles Brotman, discovered Chris at a school talent show. Under his guidance and mentorship, Charles was able to advance Chris' development by enhancing his focus and dedication to the music he loved. Today, Chris is wholly absorbed by his drive and passion to reach his full potential as a singer/songwriter and, in collaboration with Love and Laughter Studios (Anaheim, CA), is very excited for his upcoming release of, "Dust Trails." He is also planning tour dates in the near future with booked shows nationwide including Texas, Oklahoma, and California.
