Corey White is an 19-year-old singer/songwriter from Bixby, Okla. In early 2005, White was discovered for his talent while opening for industry greats, The Oak Ridge Boys, Asleep At The Wheel and more. Since then, White has played hundreds of shows across the nation with some of the most renowned artists at some of the most historic and popular venues.
White's musical experience includes playing with some of country music's heavyweights such as Willie Nelson, Dustin Lynch, Roy Clark and in June 2013, White was invited to perform at the Thunder on the Mountain Concert Series with Luke Bryan, Toby Keith and more.
While living on his own in Nashville at age 17, Corey began working his way up in the songwriting world. He started writing with unknown writers, much like himself. In less than a year, Corey had worked his way up to writing with some of the top writer's in the industry. By age 18, Corey had written songs with Michael Dulaney (JASON ALDEAN'S Flyover States & Tattoos On This Town), Michael Heeney (ERIC CHURCH'S Drink In My Hand & Love Your Love The Most), and more.
Currently attending Oklahoma State University, White travels many weekends to music cities Nashville, Atlanta, Kansas City and the Carolinas to play sold-out shows at some of America's top venues including Eddie's Attic (Atlanta, GA), Power and Light District (Kansas City, MO), Cain's Ballroom (Tulsa, OK), Kemper Arena (Kansas City, MO) and The Kennedy Center (Washington D.C.).
White, like his music, stays true to his southern roots of country but his blues & soul influences are evident. Each song is clever, catchy and true to Corey's character--honest, down to earth, and the product of hard work. His iTunes debut EP will be released Fall 2013 and White is excited to showcase his talent and hard work to his fans, followers and listeners!
