About D Is for Dragster

After the 1997 breakup of Frontier Trust, drummer Joe Kobjerowski and singer Gary Dean Davis moved on to start D Is for Dragster that same year, with the addition of Steve Denekas (bass) and Jeremiah McIntyre (guitar). As the quartet remained with the rugged country styling of Kobjerowski and Davis' former band, the Omaha four-piece debuted its one and only EP, Chrysler Solid State, through Ismist Records in 1997. But D Is for Dragster broke up the following year after a brief Midwestern tour. ~ Mike DaRonco, Rovi
