Dan Bettridge is a 20 year-old singer songwriter from Ogmore-by-Sea, in Wales, UK. Dan started playing guitar at just 7 years of age; heavily influenced by his parents’ taste in music - artists such as Cat Stevens and James Taylor.
Bettridge chose to pursue a career in music after his first term studying Photojournalism at university. He quit his degree course and dedicated his life to songwriting and performing live.
Since his debut release - 'Hunter's Heart' - in January 2013, Dan has had his tracks aired on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2, performed a live session on BBC Radio 2’s Dermot O'Leary Show (Sony award winner of Best Music Programme 2011 & 2013) and regular airplay and numerous live sessions on BBC Radio Wales.
He has performed sold out headline shows, performed at festivals such as; Green Man Festival (August 2013) and Swn Festival (October 2013) - http://swnfest.com/artist/dan-bettridge/.

Dan was featured on a double page spread as the ‘Next Big Thing’ in the July 2013 issue of Acoustic Magazine UK; and will be performing at the London Acoustic Guitar show (September 8), alongside Matt Cardle, Scott Mathews, Tom Baxter and others.
Dan Bettridge currently remains an independent artist; and with producers, photographers, production companies, graphic designers and publishing companies asking to work with Dan personally, he is building up a strong, loyal fan base and a respectable name for himself in the music industry.
