About Dani Wilde
Wilde has secured three number one’s in the Official I-tunes Blues Music Charts (Two self penned songs and a cover of The Rolling Stones “Bitch’ as part of the girl group “Girls With Guitars”). She has also crossed over to the European Country Charts Top 40 placing her alongside Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift in Luxembourg and Switzerland. Radio play internationally has included many a live session for The Paul Jones Show on BBC Radio 2 and Bill Wax’s XFM Bluesville show in the USA.
On her travels, Wilde has performed as the opening act for the likes of Jools Holland, Nazareth, Johnny Winter, Journey, Foreigner, Maddie Prior (Steeleye Span) and Robben Ford, to name but a few. She has also performed on The Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise alongside her hero’s Bobby Blue Bland, Bobby Womack and Taj Mahal. Live collaborations have included sharing the stage with Pee Wee Ellis at Womad Festival, Christopher Holland, Samantha Fish (Girls With Guitars) and Sue Foley as well as recording with top producers from Stuart Dixon to the legendary Mike Vernon (Clapton/Fleetwood Mac).
Wilde has released three solo studio albums plus the ‘Girls with guitars’ album for Ruf Records (Luther Alison/Jimmy Vaughan/Louisiana Red). She also manages her own independent record label “Bri-Tone Records”.
A passionate advocate for the charity ‘Moving Mountains’ Dani Wilde is also recognised for her humanitarian work fighting to prevent child poverty in Kenya.
Wilde’s new album “Songs about you” will be release this April. The record has been described as “An honest and intimate songbook combining country, blues and gospel into spellbinding melodies and grooves.” Wilde gives a matured and moving vocal performance and demonstrates her best song-writing yet. Producer Stuart Dixon captures a magical performance on the record pulling in some the UK’s top session players including Fergus Gerrand on drums (Madonna/Sting), Roger Inniss on bass (Chaka Khan), Janos Barrista on piano (Jimmy Ruffin), Greg Coulson on Organ (The Selecter), and Bethany Porter on Cello (Peter Gabriel/Kula Shaker).
In September 2015, Wilde was awared 'Best Female Vocalist" at the British Blues Awards. Her Brother Will Wilde was also a finalist in the Harmonica category.

• She is a journalist with her own column celebrating the great Blues Women throughout history in Classic Rock's Blues Magazine
• She has a 1st Class BA HONS Degree and her dissertation was on the subject of using music as a fundraising tool to provide music education in slum communities in Kenya.
