Doron Medalie (Hebrew: דורון מדלי) born on December 5, 1977 in Ramat Hasharon,Israel is an Israeli song writer, composer, artistic director.
Doron was raised in a suburb of Tel-Aviv.
As a child he studied music and keyboards at the YAMAHA music school, theatre at the "Habima national theatre" and "Alon performing- art high-school".
Later on, he studied screen-acting at the "Sharon Alexander" studio, Flamenco dancing at the "Compass dance company", and Gaga lessons at the "Batsheva Dance Company" with the Master, Ohad Naharin.
One of Israel's most successful hit-makers,Doron has written over 250 songs:
Big emotional ballads, Middle Eastern pop songs, children songs, soundtracks and theme songs for TV - he does it all.
If you ever visited the beautiful city of Tel-Aviv,You must have heard his song: "Tel Aviv Ya Habibi Tel Aviv" - the official anthem of "Tel Aviv Gay Pride 2013".
During the years he worked with top-Israeli singers like Eyal Golan, Shlomi Shabat, Omer Adam, Lior Narkis, Harel Skaat and many more.
His own solo album, "Abyss", was released in 2008.

Television and stage career:
As an artistic director, he started his career during the year 2000, as an assistant director of Yaron Meiri (ORPAN GROUP). Together they were in charge of more than 100 commercial-stage-shows.
His big breakthrough was the role of an Artistic manager of the famous talent shows- "A Star is Born" and "Eyal Golan is calling you";
For more than 10 years, he directed the Israeli Music Awards (ACUM) and the national 'Memorial Day' ceremony.
Eurovision Song Contest:
3 times he directed the Israeli entry for the Eurovision (Bo'az Ma'uda- 2008, Harel Skaat - 2010, Moran Mazor - 2013).
He wrote and composed the Israeli entry for Eurovision 2015 - "GOLDEN BOY" (Nadav Guedj). Doron song ended 3th in the semi-finals and was awarded a spot in the final on May 23, 2015 where he ended 9th with 97 points.
Doron collaborated with Zvika Pick, Together they wrote "Sing my song" for Sofia Nizharadze (Eurovision pre-selection Georgia, 2010)
