Texas singer/songwriter Frank Martin Gilligan has had a long and winding road in music. Born and raised in Queens, NYC he made the pilgrimage to Texas in 1975 and almost immediately formed Mason Dixon, a Texas vocal group that had 13 nationally charted Billboard singles including the group's signature song "When Karen Comes Around" for Capitol Records. Since embarking on a solo career Frank has won the 2013 Songwriter Serenade Competition along with a showcase at the 2014 International Folk Alliance in Kansas City. His new song "I Remember Who She Is" is gaining a lot of attention for demonstrating the heartbreak and also the beauty of the human spirit when faced with Alzheimers. Proceeds from downloads of the single will aid in the fight against this terrible disease. Frank can be seen live performing all over the state of Texas.
