About Gathering Field

Roots-rockers the Gathering Field formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1994. Led by singer/guitarist Bill Deasy, the band, which also included guitarist Dave Brown, bassist Eric Riebling and drummer Ray DeFade, released its debut LP Lost in America on their own independent label Mudpuppy. The title track became a smash on local radio, and in 1996 a remastered edition of the album was released on Atlantic Records. Reliance followed in 1999. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
