GREG HANNA
When Greg Hanna sings about hopping down off of the tractor after a long, hot day in
the sun on the farm, it’s not just a line in one of his songs. It’s a scene from his life and
the very essence of who he really is. The Eastern Ontario native grew up on a dairy
farm, and is just as happy fixing fence or milking cows as he is performing on stage in
front of thousands of screaming fans. And the songs on Greg’s new self-titled album
aren’t just products of his immense talent, they’re also a glimpse into his very soul –
little snippets of his life painstakingly sewn into an audio patchwork. Greg is a
"Good Ole Boy"....better known as a "Northern Hillbilly"...growing up in a small farming
town , and having been raised as a dairy farmer, Hanna knows the "work hard - party
hard" mentality first hand, and shows it on the stage as he always gives 110% at all
times. "I love to entertain and make people smile! ", he says... "When I get off the stage,
everyone is havin' a party!" His high energy show is one everyone should
experience as Greg works his way up through the ranks of Country Music.
With a string of Top#10 radio singles under his belt in Canada, Greg made the move
to Nashville where he started his own record label; Pheromone Records, released his
first 3 singles to American Country radio and managed them to the Top of radio playlists
all across the USA and Canada with the accompanying music videos getting Hanna
exposure into over 7 million homes. “It’s a Man’s Job”, “What Kind of Love are you On”,
and “Makin‘ Love Real”. He has had one of his songs recorded by Country
Legend; Sammy Kershaw, been part of the reality TV show; Nashville Star 3, been
honored with the CMA (Country Music Association)'s Debut Artist Spotlight, performed
at the CMA Music Fest, walked the Red Carpet at the 43rd CMA Music Awards,
performed Coast to Coast with the who's who of Country Music including… being part of
Toby Keith's "American Ride Tour" , and opening shows across the Country for Toby and
Trace Adkins.
This year past year Greg has been busy on a large scale media tour, visiting radio and
television Coast to Coast across America co-hosting, and making appearances on many
Daytime talk shows, and music/video shows including “Daytime”, Lifetime’s “The
Balancing Act”, and “Music Mix USA” showing his softer side and pulling on our heart
strings with his Top#10 Hit single;"Makin' Love Real". The accompanying music
video had everyone falling in love. "Makin' Love Real" lit up request lines all over the
Country.
From the first tasteful banjo licks joined by a crunching power chord, the driving beat of
the bottom end, and the unmistakably down-home sincerity of the voice, you know
you’re listening to a Greg Hanna song. It’s the voice of a man in touch with the heart
and soul of real people. "It Rained" is the first single from Hanna's forthcoming followup
CD to his debut, self titled; "Greg Hanna", which returns to us via his own Imprint
label; Pheromone Records LLC, along with partners MegaForce and Sony.
"It's really exciting to be back out with new music… It took us a year and a little to get it
all written and put together and now it's time to share it with our friends at Radio, TV and
of course the Fans. My buddies Jason Aldean, Eric Church and Brantley Gilbert along
with Carrie and Taylor have pushed the boundaries of Country music over the past few
years and it's great to be able to bring some new Hanna sounds and excitement to the
Party Crowd!."
Hanna has been focusing on breaking into the USA market as well as Canada over the
last few years, but on this new project he is bringing the "Love" back home to Canada.
"We are kickstarting our launch of "It Rained" at home in Canada and have a massive
Coast to Coast media tour set, as well as Fairs and Festivals throughout the Summer".
"I told our marketing team that it was time to focus on the folks back home, give back for
all the support over the years, say ….Thanks! and return some love".
"It Rained" lends itself to the Northern Spring season with it's title… and the infectious
Rockin' Country flavored melody will have Listeners searching the dial for more as
Hanna's new single catches fire across the Country.
