About Jeff Caron
While serving this great country in the UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS, Jeff developed his own sound of country which was mixed with hard rock guitar riffs and the care-free beachy lyrics similar to BUFFETT.
Shortly after Jeff moved to Nashville with his new sound in 2001, he heard KENNY CHESNEY’s new approach to music row on the radio with songs like NO SHOES, NO SHIRT, NO PROBLEMS (SAME CONCEPT!)
Discouraged, Jeff concentrated on working a day job for a while. A few years went by and Jeff joined a Christian rock band with fellow musicians at his church (Stephanie Ludtke, Eric Ludtke, Martha Ramos, and Beau Agee) and they called themselves AWAKENING.
In 2004 Jeff was recruited by JAKE THOMAS to play lead guitar in JAKE AND THE HALF CONCHED BAND which he still does to this day.
In 2005, he met Music Row producer GARY SADKER and within a few months started writing and finding material for his first album. Released in the Spring of 2007, TWIST OF LIME was Jeff’s debut CD on Magenta Records. Many great musicians played on the CD, such as; GEORGE STRAIT’S drummer MIKE KENNEDY, TRACY LAWRENCE’S bass player LEON WATSON, and RANDY TRAVIS’ steel player STEVE HINSON, to name a few.
Jeff stayed busy supporting TWIST OF LIME from 2007 to 2010 playing all over the United States with some great players like; FRANK SERES, CHARLIE THINDERFOOT, SHYRLYLE HALL, GARY SADKER, ERIC HOLT, TAD PARKER, CLIFF HAGEN, BART FELLER, ANDRA DURHAM, and Jeff’s childhood friends, GARY MARSTON, RYAN TRIPP, CHRIS BIGELOW, JAY FORGUES and RENEE COMBS.
When things slowed down for his CD, Jeff joined the TENNESSEE THUNDER BAND as lead singer and guitar player from 2010 to 2012.
In 2013 Jeff took on playing lead guitar for Up-and-coming country sensation LANNDON and is still playing every weekend with her.
Jeff also has a brand new project in the works – Stay tuned for much more!!
