Although she has been singing in churches since she was just a tyke, Jessica Martindale's career gained momentum once she started singing the National Anthem for professional sporting events. She has had the opportunity to sing for the Suns, Coyotes, Diamondbacks, Rattlers, Ducks and many (many) more. While on the National Anthem circuit, she was continuously working on her songwriting craft and recording her songs in home studios. These recordings earned her 3 nominations from the Star Music Awards: Best New Artist, Best Jazz Vocal, and Song of the Year. She was later connected to Cori Jacobs, a producer and musician who has worked with the likes of Lauryn Hill and Beyonce. Together Cori and Jessica produced 3 tracks that gained attention from labels in the Oakland area; however, Jessica felt called to finish her college education, save up her money and move to Nashville... the land of singers/songwriters! Her first EP was released fall of 2013 and earned a spot on iTune's 'New and Noteworthy' charts- shared by the likes of Sara Bareilles, Amos Lee and Jack Johnson.
