Joe Daniel (born 5 December 1954) is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Canadian House of Commons in the 2011 election. He represents the electoral district of Don Valley East as a member of the Conservative Party. He is the first Canadian MP of Malayali descent.

Daniel came to Canada in 1987 to work on a contract with the Canadian military. In 1995, he moved to Toronto and joined (IBM) Celestica Inc. where he worked for 14 years as a manager in engineering. He was also a part-time professor at Humber and Centennial College and during this period presented a number of papers on fibre optic technology.
In Parliament, Daniel is a member of the Standing Committee on Human Resources and Skills Development of Canada and Standing Committee on Transportation. He is also involved in several groups, associations and delegations.
