In 2007 Judy Wrights' Self Titled CD climbed to #27 on the Top 40 Americana Billboard Charts, and stayed in the Top 40 for 17 straight weeks. Thanks to her manager and co-writer at the time "ABC Radio Networks" Dan Gordon, and an amazing record promoter out of California....Joe Estrada.
Also with the help from another co-writer and friend Carrie Criado "Executive Director of Communications & Marketing at the University of Houston Law Center" Judys' first project "Kiss Me Alot" was #4 in Holland and landed her in Europe's Billboard Magazine and on the cover of the California High Dessert magazine. That's when the buzz started.
To go back in time Judy moved to Nashville from a very small town in Illinois. Landed a gig at the Opryland Hotel. Met Chet Atkins. Chet taught Judy how to finger pick and Judy taught Chet how to play some rolls on the banjo. Not a bad trade off at all.
With 3 albums behind me. I'm anxious to record again. I just keep writing and playing and doing what I love to do. Music is my passion...........
