Justin Moses is an accomplished instrumentalist currently playing banjo and dobro with Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder. He also plays mandolin, guitar, fiddle and bass. He's been playing music since the age of six and began traveling with his family's gospel group soon after learning his first chords on the mandolin. As a teenager he entered regional contests, winning several on multiple instruments. After graduating high school he helped form the East Tennessee band Blue Moon Rising. Justin went on to perform with Sierra Hull in 2005, becoming a founding member of Highway 111. In 2006, Justin's first solo instrumental album Dusty Roads was released to many favorable reviews. He then spent time with bands Blue Moon Rising and NewFound Road before being asked to join the Dan Tyminski Band in late 2007. He made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2008, and has become an in-demand session player, appearing on such albums as the 2009 IBMA Album of the Year and Grammy nominated "Wheels" by Dan Tyminski. Justin is a native of Madisonville, TN and now resides in Nashville.
