About Livewire

LiveWire features lead guitarist/harmony vocalist Bobby DeGonia, lead vocalist/acoustic guitarist Andy Eutsler, fiddle player/harmony vocalist Cory Shultz, rhythm guitarist/harmony vocalist Danny Bell, bassist Landon Rolfe and drummer Brad Allen.

Edgy, honest and passionate, LiveWire’s unique sound blends elements of working man’s Country and rootsy Southern Rock. Themes of the common man resound in its Ozark Mountain firebrand music with songs about real life - good times, hard times, poverty, love, loss, family, spirituality, death and redemption. LiveWire’s music has found success at Country radio, both in the U.S. and in Europe, and its videos have received airplay on CMT Pure, The Country Network and Yallwire, among other outlets.

LiveWire has been bringing crowds to their feet for over a decade. In its earliest incarnation LiveWire performed weekends at VFWs and local clubs around Southwestern Missouri and Northeastern Oklahoma. Soon, the lure of the open road called and LiveWire began traveling from coast-to-coast, performing in club venues in almost every state across America. The experience shaped it into one of the best live bands on the circuit, but after six years of non-stop touring the members were burned out and discouraged with their lack of progress. What could have been tragedy turned into a positive. After a brief hiatus, LiveWire reformed with a renewed energy and hard-won musical maturity. Determined to break out of the cover band scene, the band focused its attention on developing the sound that would take it to a higher level. Building on a reputation as a top-shelf live act, LiveWire began opening for a “Who’s Who” of Country music and had the opportunity to appear in front of a national television audience as finalists in the 2009 Colgate Country Showdown, where the group performed to a national television audience from the stage of the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

LiveWire began to get a glimpse of the next phase of its career when it released a self-titled EP in 2011. The six-song project produced the group’s debut radio single, “Tater Fed,” a stirring backwoods rocker that gained the attention of critics, radio and fans – and quickly became the band’s anthem.

On the heels of that exposure, LiveWire signed with Way Out West Records in Nashville and released a music video for “Tater Fed.” After its hometown of Joplin, Mo. was devastated by an EF-5 tornado in the spring of 2011, the group released a single and video for “Miracle Of The Human Spirit,” with proceeds going to benefit the rebuilding efforts. LiveWire released its debut album LIVIN’ in late 2012. It has earned the band widespread critical acclaim and has spawned the radio singles “Gone” and “Lies.”

Like a band of brothers, LiveWire has endured to see its long-held dreams of musical success become a reality. And even if you weren’t "Tater Fed" and didn’t grow up on a "rural route," LiveWire’s music makes you wish you had.
