Madeline Smith, raised in New Jersey, has a southern family background and grew up on country music, singing Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash. Her perfect pitch was discovered by her piano teacher at age ten. She then started taking voice lessons and then later guitar lessons. After picking up the guitar, Madeline started immersing herself in songwriting.
Now that Madeline is sixteen, she is chasing her dream with full force and loving every second of it. She has just finished her album with Kent Wells (Dolly Parton's producer) which was released in July 2013. A prolific songwriter, Madeline is working with multiple established industry songwriters, performing with her band, and immersing herself in music. She loves what she is doing and thanks God every day for the opportunities she has been given.
