Madeline Smith, raised in New Jersey, has a southern family background and grew up on country music. At age 15, Madeline found her voice, put together a band, and started performing as a cover band. In September, 2013, Madeline released her single “State of Mind” to the UK and it immediately went to #16 on the country charts. She performed two of her originals and was a presenter at the British Country Music Awards on November 24, 2013. Madeline performs primarily in NJ, NY, and PA and has 2014 performances scheduled in Nashville, Illinois, and Utah. Madeline also frequents Nashville for recording, songwriting, and performances and will be living in Nashville as of September 2014. She has recently been asked to perform at the 2014 Girl Scout National Convention in Salt Lake City in October, 2014. She has also been involved with an event for One Wish Foundation and recently formally partnered with them.
Madeline is continuing to immerse herself in song-writing, guitar, and piano. She is starting to pick up the banjo as well. She loves what she is doing and thanks God every day for the opportunities she has been given.
"Madeline was raised in New Jersey, but with family roots that run deep in the moist soil of Louisiana, her southern charm is undeniable the moment she walks in the room. A stunning vocalist, she also plays the piano and guitar, and is a prolific writer drawing poetic lyrics from the deep well of a tender and introspective heart. " Kent Wells from Kent Wells Productions, Nashville, TN.
