Although barely a few months old, Oh Jimmy's debut EP arrived in the fall of 2002 with ex-Whiskeytown member Mike Daly's earthy production guiding along their first few compositions. The band had formed earlier in the year, when recording engineer Eric Casimiro, singer/songwriter Neal Harrison, bassist William Paris and drummer Keith Cantamessa came together to perform several of Harrison's teary-eyed alternative country songs. The band hit it off, and used their friendship with Daly to score his studio talents for Free on Rails, their debut EP. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi
