There are certain things in country music you don’t ignore. Talent is obviously one but just as important as talent...is drive.
In just the past two years Rachel Lipsky has been named the IMEA Country Female Vocalist of the Year award, invited by Armed Forces Entertainment to perform for the troops overseas, hired by the Professional Bull Riders to perform the national anthem at a number of their events (both in and out of Nashville) and has been tapped to host monthly songwriter nights in Nashville.
With a sound that nestles in nicely somewhere between high heeled country sass and southern rock based country, Rachel Lipsky is poised for greatness. Not only can she can share the fan bases of artists ranging from Gretchen Wilson to Carrie Underwood to Miranda Lambert, she has a style that both fits what is happening and is markedly all her own.
2014 is poised to take Rachel and her music out of Nashville and on the road all over the country to shows that include (but are not limited to) Taste of Country festival in New York, Country Jam Colorado, the Headwaters Country Jam in Montana, headlining an Irish Fest in Iowa and a couple shows in California as well.
