About Randy Wade
Watching Marty Robbins on TV he emulated every move and knew most of the songs by heart by the age of four. Soon after he began learning to play the guitar, and learned so quickly that before long he was playing at church and social gatherings. By age seven he informed his mother that one day would be on the radio.
Two years later that dream came true when he signed a record deal with Presta Records and recorded his first 45 rpm record. Since then he has appeared with numerous stars, played everywhere from the Phoenix Memorial Coliseum to the Calgary Stampede, and in clubs from coast to coast. He has written songs for the likes of Kenny Rogers and Ricky Nelson.
He is an internationally recognized, Award Winning poet, and continues to pursue his career. In 2012 he suffered TWO strokes and many thought he would retire, but not yet! “There is still a lot of music in this old boy,” he says.
