About Rose Falcon
Born in New York City and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Rose is the daughter of legendary singer - songwriter Billy Falcon. Rose started writing poetry at age 12, which soon became the basis for her own artistic journey. She was discovered and signed by Columbia Records who released her self-titled EP in 2008. Rose quickly gained notoriety having several of her songs placed in films and commercials including Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Master of Disguise, Raising Helen, Dawson's Creek, and Inspector Gadget 2. Her songs have been recorded by Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum, Day of Fire and Jessie James. Her music has also been used in national advertising campaigns for Verizon Wireless, JC Penny, The Build a Bear Workshop and Estée Lauder.
Rose is unabashed in her writing and sings with an uncommon brutal honesty. “I want my songs to be like a friend to anyone listening. My hope is that when people listen, they gain comfort in knowing they are not alone in the feelings they have, they are not the only person in the world who has ever been completely heartbroken or who secretly still drives by their ex’s house from time to time, yeah… I’m that girl”.
In 2011 Rose signed with Show Dog - Universal Music and began recording her first project for the label, “19th Avenue - the EP” which was released in May to critical acclaim and a huge endorsement from Jon Bon Jovi. "In an era filled with contest winners and formatted radio playlists occasionally there comes along a true artist who has the ability to make you listen as well as feel. Rose Falcon has been at this for a long time. She's an old soul in the voice of a beautiful young lady. She speaks of a life lived. She's earned this shot. From backyard to bar to arena stages. Take a listen. You won't be disappointed...JBJ "
In June 2012 Rose took her show on the road as a featured performer on the Country Throwdown Tour with headliner Gary Allan.
Rose will release her highly anticipated follow up EP in January 2013. As she continues to release new music and perform across the country we get to know and love “that girl” just a little bit more.
Take a listen. You won’t be disappointed.
