Sammie is a singer/vocalist who is from Fostoria, Ohio. She started singing at three years old and has never stopped. She has participated in multiple singing competitions which includes small town competitions, American Idol, and she took home the 1st place trophy in competitions in Las Vegas. On paper her life may seem like an ordinary singer but her story goes far beyond that. At a young age Sammie was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease that she was soon treated for and was on medication for 6 years, but shortly after, her world was turned upside down when she went in for a routine check up and was immediately admitted to the ICU. She was diagnosed with complete kidney failure and was put on dialysis the day before Thanksgiving in 2011. While most of her friends were out partying and being normal college kids, she was waking up at 5am to go to dialysis and finishing with just enough time to punch the time clock at work. She is strong, loving, independent and the most courageous person you will ever meet. After only moving to Florida not to long ago, she met with CEO/Michael Jones of Fl@out Productions and became close friends. After Michael saw her perform at a nearby bar, and learning of her potential as an artist, she immediately signed with Fl@out Productions/Fl@out Records. As she currently struggles with kidney failure, that is not stopping her from becoming the artist and role model that she strives to be. Great things are on the look out for her.
