Sidnie Tipton is one of those rare Nashville songwriters that was actually born in Music City!
Sidnie Tipton was born and raised in Nashville Tennessee, where she found herself writing and singing music at such a young age that she wasn't quite sure what to do with it. Growing up, Sidnie was mainly influenced by country artist Johnny Cash, and songwriter Mickey Newberry. Determined to make her dreams a reality, Sidnie taught herself acoustic guitar and piano, and at age 17, she took a little over 150 original songs that she had written on her own to different publishing companies in the Nashville area, and was signed by Dividing Ridge Music Group. Since then, Sidnie has gotten the chance to express and expand her many talents. She has now teamed up with Monica Benson and BOK Music, in Southern California. You can find Sidnie in both Music City and on the West Coast where she is busy recording, singing, writing, and pursuing her career as a recording artist.
