About The Captain Ledge Band
Tony's been playing guitar for 40 plus years and during that time he's seen the inside of almost every honky tonk and beer joint in the eastern half of Oklahoma. Then, one day, he was asked to play guitar for a Grammy Winning artist. Needless to say, he wasn't just thrilled, his skills elevated to a whole new level while at the same time retaining a sound that takes you back to dance hall slide guitar and acoustic finger picking.
Tristan, at this writing, is only 14. You would never guess it by listening to the percussion he adds to the music. He's a prodigy and a young man that's way ahead of his years in skill and musical ability. Playing with mom, Jeana, brings a whole new atmosphere to the music.
Cliff "The Ledge", on bass, has an extensive resume going all the way back to the late 70's. From college, to touring, to studio, to TV and beyond. The rock steady bass lines that, along with Tristan's skills, take you places that acoustic music, bluegrass and blues have never been before. This band is already gaining world wide recognition, receving e-mails from a small but growing fan base from all over the world.
Combining a love of sailing and the music associated with it into a jazz, blues, reggae infused acoustic sound The Captain Ledge Band can only be described as Bluegrass Pink Floyd doing Bob Marley with a tinge of Etta James.
