Tim Harwill (born Timothy Frederick Pruden at Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Métis-Canadian outlaw country singer/songwriter, based out of Thorsby, Alberta, Canada.
Music career edit:
Often billed as 'The 12-String Troubadour', the critically acclaimed songwriter has toured across North America performing an eclectic and personal blend of roots/country music in a signature vocal style. His music is generally identified as "Americana" and tells non-conformist tales of the people and places he's encountered while living out scores of adventures on the lost highway. A working musician, Tim has shared the stage and studio with many great talents including 'Godfather' of Americana music James Talley, seminal outlaw country singer/songwriter Steve Young, rising Canadiana country star Tim Hus, and was joined by legendary Alberta country musicians Alfie Myhre and Richard Chernesky on his 2012 studio release 'A Tribute to Catfish John'.
Personal life edit:
A one-time professional boxer, he has earned raves as both poet and actor at different times in his career. Legendarily reclusive, he is known to be divorced and lives quietly in small town Alberta when not on tour.
