Tom Frietchen grew up in Strongsville, Ohio. At 10-years old, he learned to play guitar, and by 15, he was starting up bands and writing his own songs. After high school Tom and his rock band hit the top ten with a song on Z-rock, a national radio station, as well as other radio stations. The band was featured in Billboard Magazine and toured cities across the nation. Tom took a break to start a family. Having a wife and children changed him, and country music --its lyrics rooted in life and truth-- became a new avenue for his musical talent. Tom's songwriting reflects life's realities, as he often is inspired by the people and situations close to him. Tom's musical influences include The Beatles, KISS, Brad Paisley, George Strait, and Gary Allen, just to name a few. And while his style has evolved over the years, Tom's music is still firmly rooted in guitar. His album 'It's Been So Long' blends old-school rock and country music, and features Just You And Me, a soulful song that has already reached #1 on iHeartRadio, which reached over 350 stations nationwide.
