About Travis Wayne
Travis Wayne grew up in the small town of Manchester, KY with a population of less than 10,000 people. The down home, small town sounds and meaning of country music hits home and flows through his veins. Travis has played guitar since the young age of five and has since stepped up to the microphone to develop a truly unique sound. After several years of performing the local circuits with little success, he wrote "I'm Still Dad." This song led him to meet some of the next few people that helped accelerate his career.
He was introduced to producer Dave Demay through Curtis Mabry, an artist with New Hope Management. Dave has been helping Travis by recording and producing his entire album. Currently the unreleased album has songs by songwriters such as Casey Beathard (No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem - Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo), Dan Demay (Crazy Everytime - If Something Should Happen), and Bobby Pinson (Don't Ask Me How I Know - Past Comin' Back.)
Since releasing three songs (I'm Still Dad, Ch-Ching, and And Then Some) Travis has been nominated for the Independent Music Network's Best Country Discovery Artist of the Year after having stayed in the top 10 for several months. He is currently having his songs played all over the world on 400+ radio stations. His most recent stint has had Travis premiering on the CMT reality series Redneck Island Season 3 hosted by former WWE Superstar Stone Cold Steve Austin. With over 1.4 million viewers Travis' career is only taking further steps to stardom. Travis will also be playing at this year's Country Music Award's Downtown Festival in Nashville.
"Outside of my family, music means more to me than anything, and just as important, are the people I share it with, both on the stage and in the audience." - Travis Wayne
