Tyler Brant Harrison was born and raised an Okie in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He grew up like most country boys, listening to country music. Tyler decided to pick up a guitar around age 19 and became infatuated with its amazing sound. It wasn't long after Tyler was in a car accident that resulted in a concussion, broken hand, and a broken guitar. After medical bills and not being able to replace the guitar it took Tyler years before he was reunited with his passion for playing country music and singing. He took to playing like a fish to water and began to play anywhere and everywhere he could in the city of Savannah, Ga. It's there that Tyler really fueled his love for entertaining. He took it on as a full time job and set out to make a name for himself one show at a time, all the while following his dreams and doing what he loved. It wasn't an easy path.
The normal country song applied to his life while playing out in Savannah, with the old lost remarks of "Lost my truck, lost my power, can't eat a bite". A short time after, Tyler sparked interests of country music labels in Tennessee after his astonishing nomination for "Country male vocalist of the year" in the 2013 Georgia Music Awards with only 3 years experience under his belt.
Tyler developed his music style from forging his flair and heeding to the heart of the undisputed kings of Country Music such as Merle Haggard and George Jones. Tyler’s music and lyrics along with his witty lines and smooth vocals are immediately recognizable as a powerful up and coming star in the county genre. With the release of “Can’t Change Me” in June of 2014, (title single to the album “Country Swag”) Tyler is impacting the country music world already.
His style combines an intimate source of country with an edgy, outlaw, southern-rock twist and the heart to put it all together. When Tyler starts a set, you are all ears and can’t wait to hear what’s next.
