Later that year, Charlie was struck with cancer! He became a patient, benefiting from the very research he was helping to fund. In January 2004, he returned to Country in the Rockies singing and speaking from his heart about the work that made him cancer-free. As a member of the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center Board of Overseers and a supporter of the T.J. Martell Foundation, Charlie is making a difference with his fiddle and his voice. He is helping to save and change lives.
