Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)
In September of 2003, Brad was named to the 2003-2005 National Board of Advisors for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). The Board consists of 20 select leaders from such areas as business, religion, and the arts & sciences, including such fellow members as actor Edward James Olmos, noted television personality Joan Lunden, and esteemed poet/author, Dr. Maya Angelou.

Belmont University
From his student years, when he performed at Belmont University's annual "Best of the Best" benefit for university programs, and later, when he returned to headline the concert as an established artist and play in Vince Gill's Celebrity Basketball Tournament, Paisley has continued to support his alma mater. Brad's efforts were recognized in 2003 when he received the Distinguished Alumni Award during Belmont's Homecoming festivities.

Other Special Initiatives
Paisley performed at the 3rd Annual "A Night to Unite" gala to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

For the past two years, Brad has participated in the Shjon Podein Celebrity Rock Concert and Golf Tournament in Minneapolis. Joining such fellow celebrities as his actress/wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley and actor Matt Damon, Paisley has helped raise funds for the Shjon Podein Children's Foundation, which works toward finding a cure for Ataxia, a rare children's disease.

In May of 2004, Brad appears at William Shatner's 14th Annual Wells Fargo Hollywood Charity Horse Show, an event supporting Ahead with Horses, Tilden's Children, and the Camp Max Straus Foundation.
