The Home Depot Recognizes Country Music Humanitarians
Congratulations to this year's recipient of The Home Depot Humanitarian Award.

The Home Depot Humanitarian Award was created to recognize an artist or group in the country music industry who is committed to serving others and who has a generosity of spirit and a dedication to helping build the dreams of those in need. This is the first fan-voted award in the 40-year history of the Academy of Country Music Awards, and it provides country music fans an opportunity to acknowledge the one country music artist or group who has most inspired them through their work and deeds.

This year's nominees were Diamond Rio, Neal McCoy and Brad Paisley, and the winner was announced during the live broadcast of the 40th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Tuesday, May 17, 2005, from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino Events Center in Las Vegas, Nev. You can see how all of the nominees chose to serve others by visiting their pages.

Thank you for voting.
