27th Annual CMA Awards Summary

Vince Gill dominates multiple categories, winning five awards including entertainer, male vocalist, album (I Still Believe in You), song of the year ("I Still Believe in You") and his part in the all-star collaboration, "I Don't Need Your Rocking Chair," which wins vocal event of the year. Alan Jackson also wins multiple CMAs as his hit "Chattahoochee" earns music video and single of year honors. Mary Chapin Carpenter earns another female vocalist nod, while Mark Chesnutt receives the Horizon Award. Diamond Rio and Brook & Dunn continue to collect the vocal group and vocal duo awards. Singer-songwriter Willie Nelson is welcomed into the Country Music Hall of Fame. During the show, legends Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton perform "Silver Threads and Golden Needles." Later, Liza Minnelli leads a standing ovation for Reba McEntire and Linda Davis' duet, "Does He Love You." McEntire also makes headlines for her infamous red dress and low neckline.
