From his first No. 1 smash, "Should've Been a Cowboy," to his latest country album chart-topper, Clancy's Tavern, Toby Keith has been one of the most consistent self-directed hit makers of his era. His albums have sold more than 36 million copies, ranking him among the top-selling all-genre artists on Billboard's Top 200 artists of the decade. Keith is also Billboard's No. 1 artist of the decade and No. 1 country songwriter of the decade. He's now in his 19th consecutive year having had a No. 1 single every year since his first release. This latest collection's lead single, "Made in America," topped the charts as one of the fastest rising songs in a long line of chart burners from Keith's pen. The second hit, "Red Solo Cup," has become the most remarkable and commercially successful country single in recent memory with a viral video with more than 15 million views while topping the top downloaded country songs. And now, the third single release from Clancy's Tavern, "Beers Ago," is on its way to becoming another huge hit.

CMT kicks off the summer with country's biggest stars and sizzling performances at the 2012 CMT Music Awards live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on June 6. It's the only entirely fan-voted award show that recognizes country's best video and musical achievements.
As we prepare for the party, we want to answer a few of your questions:
Looking for tickets?
Tickets to the 2012 CMT Music Awards, country music's first fan-voted awards show, went on sale and sold out Monday, May 21. The show will air live from Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville on June 6 on CMT and CMT.com.
Will more tickets become available?
At this time we do not anticipate any more seats opening up but if they do, it will be for walk-up purchase the day of the show. Stay tuned in to Facebook and Twitter to get the latest information fastest and most accurately.
Thinking of buying when you get here?
Be cautious if you decide to purchase tickets from an unauthorized source. We can only guarantee the tickets sold directly from Ticketmaster and the Bridgestone Arena box office. We understand how frustrating ticket scalping can be and try to combat it as much as possible by having ticket limits (4 per household). We also keep our ticket prices affordable for fans.
What time do I need to arrive at the Awards?
Doors open at 5:45 p.m. Doors will close promptly at 6:30 p.m. at which time all guests must be in their seats. The live telecast begins at 7 p.m.
What if I arrive late?
Please allow ample time for parking. Due to neighboring construction, traffic will be hectic. Because this is a live television event, empty seats that appear on camera will be filled with seat fillers. Late arrivals will be held until a commercial break.
Are cameras allowed?
Feel free to bring your personal cameras, but no professional cameras or video recording will be allowed. Anyone wishing to use wide angle and zoom lenses should apply for press passes.
Are there tickets to the red carpet?
The red carpet will not be a ticketed event this year, but it will be broadcast on CMT and CMT.com.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably. Think concert-attire or a night strolling Broadway (or as we like to call it, "country chic"). If you are in the mosh we discourage logos i.e. radio stations, websites. The best colors for TV are solid, medium and dark colors. We encourage all audience members not to wear big prints or white, as these don't look good through the camera lens.
Why does my ticket say Mosh?
If you have purchased a ticket that says Mosh, this is the designation for a particular floor area. You can view a map on the Ticketmaster website. These tickets are standing room only -- no seating -- but you won't want to sit down and miss a second of the music.
I have a ticket that says Limited View. What does that mean?
Due to the nature of live television productions, there may be unforeseen set pieces or production equipment which may cause part of your view to become limited.
Is wheelchair seating available?
Yes. We have accessible tickets available at every price level in ADA compliance. However, there are only a limited number of seats available in general, including accessible seats, and they sell out quickly as well.
Where do I print my tickets?
Please contact the Bridgestone Box Office (615-770-2040) or Ticketmaster customer service: http://www.ticketmaster.com/h/customer_serve.html
PLEASE NOTE: Tickets cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
CMT Music Awards fans are an important part of the energy of this show. We need your enthusiasm and whistles and cheers, so please remain in your seat while we are broadcasting the show live. Besides, if you leave your seat, you never know what you may miss.
