HOST: BILLY RAY CYRUSIn 1992, Billy Ray Cyrus took the country world by storm with his breakout hit, "Achy, Breaky Heart," which drove his debut album Some Gave All to sell more than 9 million copies. Since then, the multi-platinum superstar has released 10 albums and has successfully channeled his talents and charisma into acting. His TV work includes starring roles on the Disney Channel hit series Hannah Montana with his daughter, Miley Cyrus, and the Pax network series Doc. Last year, Cyrus proved to be a fan-favorite on ABC's Dancing With the Stars, and this year, he'll appear in two films, including Flying By (co-starring Heather Locklear) and Bait Shop (co-starring Bill Engvall). Plus, he will soon begin production on The Hannah Montana Movie co-starring alongside his daughter. Music fans will be happy to know Cyrus is currently writing material for his next studio album due later this summer. |
