  • Q.
How does CMT select the Top Twenty Countdown list?
  • A.
The Top Twenty Countdown videos are selected by using a variety of resources including Billboard charts, video sales, CD sales, singles sales, etc. The results are weighed together to determine the top 20 videos. Fan voting is not used as a resource in the process for this particular show.
  • Q.
I'm trying to remember a song, video or artist that I liked. Can you help me?
  • A.
If you heard the song on the radio, try contacting that station to see if they can tell you what the song was. CMT.com has message boards just for people who are trying to figure out the name of a song, video or artist. You can post your question and see if other country music fans can help you find the answer. If you're still not having any luck, try doing a search on the Internet using the song title or phrases that you remember.
  • Q.
How can I get my cable provider to carry CMT?
  • A.

Is CMT the same in the United States and Canada?
  • A.
No, the two channels are programmed independently. The CMT Schedule you see on CMT.com will not match what you see on CMT Canada. CMT.com is not affiliated with CMT Canada, so if you have questions related to CMT Canada, please go to its Web site at www.cmt.ca.
