If Your Baby Is Born on Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, You Could Be Counting More Than Your Blessings
Comedian Jeff Foxworthy's "New Baby" Inspires $50,000 Baby Bounty for a Big Night Out on CMT
Expecting a baby around Labor Day weekend? Know someone who is? That bouncing baby boy or girl could mean big bucks if you can "deliver!"
In celebration of Jeff Foxworthy's "new baby," his new CMT sketch comedy television show Foxworthy's Big Night Out, CMT is awarding $50,000 for a Big Night Out to the mother of the first baby born in America during the premiere of the show at 8:30 p.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 1, 2006. As part of Foxworthy's Big Night Out on CMT Baby Bounty cash giveaway, CMT will also award an additional $55,000 -- $5,000 each week -- to the mother of the first baby born in America during the premiere of the 11 subsequent new episodes of Foxworthy's Big Night Out airing Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET on CMT.
"$50,000 for a Big Night Out on CMT is a big, fun way to celebrate two great arrivals this Labor Day weekend -- a new baby and the premiere of Jeff's 'new baby,' Foxworthy's Big Night Out," says Andy Holeman, vice president of consumer marketing, CMT. "With eight babies born every minute in this country, it's likely that a baby will be born the exact minute that the new series premieres Friday night, Sept. 1. Then, the new mother can start to plan her big night out."
