1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN A PRIZE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

2. Entry Period: "George Strait Classic Christmas Stocking Sweepstakes" (the "Sweepstakes") commences at 12:00:01 PM (CST) on November 1, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (CST) on December 15, 2008 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). All entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM (CST) on December 15, 2008.

3. Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States and District of Columbia, who are at least 16 years of age or older at time of entry. If entrant has not reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which entrant resides, entrant will need to obtain permission from their parent/legal guardian in order to enter Sweepstakes. Employees of Country Music Television Inc., an MTV Networks, a division of Viacom International Inc. ("MTVN") , Mercury Records, a Division of UMG Recordings, Inc. ("UMG"), and George Strait ("Strait", UMG, and together with MTVN, each of the foregoing entities' parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, authorized designees, agents, employees, officers, directors, successors and assigns and other related entities, and any other individual or entity associated with the development, judging or administration of this Sweepstakes (collectively, the "Sweepstakes Entities"), as well as members of such employees' immediate families (i.e., parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents, step parents, step children and step siblings), and/or persons living in the same household as such persons, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants: (a) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the interpretations of these Official Rules by MTVN, and by the decisions of MTVN, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes; (b) to release and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities against any and all claims, injury or damage arising out of or relating to participation in this Sweepstakes and/or use or misuse or redemption of any Prize (as hereinafter defined); and (c) acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules.

4. To Enter: Visit cmt.com, a web site owned and controlled by MTVN, (the "Web Site") and complete all required fields on the online entry form. Entrants must also electronically acknowledge and agree to the terms of Web Site's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use and submit the online entry form as instructed. All entries submitted in accordance with these Official Rules shall be hereinafter referred to as "Eligible Entries". Limit one (1) entry per entrant. If an entrant uses multiple e-mail addresses to submit more than one online entry only the first online entry will count. In the event of a dispute over who submitted a winning online entry, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to participate in the Sweepstakes at the actual time of entry, will be deemed to be the entrant. The authorized account subscriber is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g. business, education, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. All entries become the property of MTVN and will not be acknowledged or returned. The odds of becoming a winner depend on the number of Eligible Entries received.

5. Winner Selection/Notification: There will be one (1) grand prize winner ("Grand Prize Winner") and ten (10) first place winners ("First Place Winners", and together with the Grand Prize Winner, the "Winner" or "Winners"). The Winners will be randomly selected from among all of the Eligible Entries on or about December 15, 2008 by. MTVN will make up to two (2) attempts over the three (3) business day period following Winner selection to contact the potential Winners via the email address provided on their entry forms. If a potential Winner does not respond to MTVN's attempts to contact him/her during that three (3) business day period the potential Winner will be disqualified and an alternate Winner will be selected from among the remaining applicable Eligible Entries received.

6. Winner Verification: The potential Winners must prove eligibility, including, without limitation, proof of age and residence within three (3) days of request from MTVN. In the event a potential Winner cannot prove eligibility within that three (3) day time period, such potential Winner shall be disqualified and an alternative potential Winner may be chosen from among all of the remaining applicable Eligible Entries received in MTVN's sole discretion. To be eligible to redeem a Prize the Winners must sign (their parent/legal guardian if they have not reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which they reside) within three (3) days of receipt of such documents from MTVN: (a) an affidavit of eligibility and release of Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability, loss, claims, demands, and causes of action for personal injury and/or damage, theft, loss, or any other harm suffered in connection with this Sweepstakes or the use/misuse, inability to use, or acceptance of any Prize or any portion thereof; and (b) except where prohibited by law, a promotional release granting Sweepstakes Entities the right to use his/her name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation. Winner also must acknowledge that MTVN has not and will not obtain or provide insurance of any kind relating to the Prizes and that Winners (their parent/legal guardian if entrant has not reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which Winner resides) will be responsible for obtaining and paying for any form of insurance relating to the Prizes. Winners must also complete any additional legal documents provided by MTVN (or third party on its behalf, if applicable) with respect to the Prizes and return them as instructed within the time frame specified by MTVN or Winner may forfeit Prize at MTVN's sole discretion. All decisions of MTVN relating to the Sweepstakes are final. MTVN expressly reserves the right to delay the announcement of the Winners for creative or technical reasons or for any other reason MTVN deems necessary.

7. Prizes:

Grand Prize: There will be one (1) Grand Prize Winner. The Grand Prize Winner will receive a stuffed stocking that will include: (i) one (1) copy of the Classic Christmas CD; (ii) one (1) gift certificate for a pair of Wrangler jeans; (iii) one (1) gift certificate for a pair of Justin Boots; (iv) one (1) George Strait branded Resistol cowboy hat (Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of $254.97), collectively the "Grand Prize" or "Grand Prizes".

First Place Prizes: There will be ten (10) First Place Winners. Each First Place Winner will receive: (i) one (1) copy of the Classic Christmas CD (ARV is $13.98), each the "First Place Prize" or "First Place Prizes", and together with the Grand Prize or Grand Prizes, (the "Prize" or "Prizes").

The ARV of the Grand Prize is $254.97 and the ARV of each First Place Prize is $13.98. The total ARV for all of the Prizes is $394.77. The ARV's are subject to change and any difference between the ARV's and the actual value, if any, will not be rewarded.

8. General Prize Terms: The date for fulfillment of the Prizes will be on or before December 31, 2008 and such date is subject to change in UMG's sole discretion. Arrangements for fulfillment of the Prizes will be made by UMG. All costs and expenses not specifically listed above, including, without limitation, any equipment to be used in connection with the Prizes are solely Winner's responsibility. The value of the Prizes will be taxable to Winners as income. Grand Prize Winner must supply MTVN with his/her social security numbers for tax purposes. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued in the name of the Grand Prize Winner for the actual value of the Grand Prize received. Upon entry into the Sweepstakes, Winner (as well as all other entrants) are required to comply with any and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. All federal, state and local taxes, and any other costs not specifically provided for in these Official Rules are solely the Winners responsibility. MTVN shall have no responsibility or obligation to a Winner or potential Winner who is unable or unavailable to accept or utilize the Prizes.

No substitution, transfer or cash equivalent of the Prizes or any portion thereof will be permitted, except by MTVN, in which case a prize of comparable or greater value may be awarded.

9. General Terms/Release of Liability: Noncompliance with any of these Official Rules will result in disqualification. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY A WINNER OR ANY BEHAVIOR BY A WINNER THAT WILL BRING SUCH WINNER OR SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES INTO DISREPUTE (IN SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES' SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS A WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS A WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, MTVN RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. THE NEW YORK COURTS (STATE AND FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE SWEEPSTAKES AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK SHALL GOVERN THE SWEEPSTAKES. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THESE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMITS TO THE JURISDICTION OF THOSE COURTS.

SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ENTRIES THAT ARE ENTERED BY OTHER THAN HUMAN MEANS (SUCH AS BY AN AUTOMATED COMPUTER PROGRAM OR ANY NON-HUMAN MECHANISM, ENTITY, OR DEVICE), IN EXCESS OF THE STATED LIMIT, OR FOR ENTRIES THAT ARE LATE, FORGED, DESTROYED, LOST, MISPLACED, STOLEN, MISDIRECTED, TAMPERED WITH, INCOMPLETE, DELETED, DAMAGED, GARBLED, OR OTHERWISE NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THESE OFFICIAL RULES, AND ALL SUCH ENTRIES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, EACH ENTRANT AGREES: (I) TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND BY ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND ALL DECISIONS OF MTVN WHICH SHALL BE BINDING AND FINAL; (II) TO WAIVE ANY RIGHTS TO CLAIM AMBIGUITY WITH RESPECT TO THE OFFICIAL RULES; (III) TO WAIVE ALL OF HIS/HER RIGHTS TO BRING ANY CLAIM, ACTION OR PROCEEDING AGAINST ANY OF THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES; AND (IV) TO RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH OF THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES, FROM ANY LIABILITY (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LIABILITY FOR ANY PROPERTY LOSS, DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, BODILY INJURY, DEATH, LOSS, EXPENSE, ACCIDENT, DELAY, INCONVENIENCE OR IRREGULARITY), COSTS AND EXPENSES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, REASONABLE OUTSIDE ATTORNEY'S FEES) THAT MAY ARISE IN CONNECTION WITH: (A) THE ENTRANT'S PARTICIPATION OR INABILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, (B) TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS IN THE OFFICIAL RULES OR ANY SWEEPSTAKES PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS, (C) ACCEPTANCE OR POSSESSION, DEFECTS IN, USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY PRIZE (OR ANY COMPONENT THEROF), (D) ANY CHANGE BY ANY COMPANY OR ANY OTHER PERSON PROVIDING ANY OF THE COMPONENTS OF A PRIZE DUE TO REASONS BEYOND ANY OF THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES' CONTROL OR AS OTHERWISE PERMITTED HEREUNDER, (E) ANY INTERRUPTIONS IN OR POSTPONEMENT, CANCELLATION, OR MODIFICATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, (F) HUMAN ERROR; (G) INCORRECT OR INACCURATE TRANSCRIPTION, RECEIPT OR TRANSMISSION OF ANY PART OF THE ENTRY (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE ENTRY INFORMATION OR ANY PARTS THEREOF), (H) ANY TECHNICAL MALFUNCTIONS OR UNAVAILABILITY OF THE SWEEPSTAKES SITE OR ANY TELEPHONE NETWORK, COMPUTER ONLINE SYSTEM, COMPUTER DATING MECHANISM, COMPUTER EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE, OR INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER UTILIZED BY ANY OF THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES OR BY AN ENTRANT, (I) INTERRUPTION OR INABILITY TO ACCESS THE SWEEPSTAKES, ANY SWEEPSTAKES-RELATED WEB PAGES, OR ANY ONLINE SERVICE VIA THE INTERNET DUE TO HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE COMPATIBILITY PROBLEMS, (J) ANY DAMAGE TO ENTRANT'S (OR ANY THIRD PERSON'S) COMPUTER AND/OR ITS CONTENTS RELATED TO OR RESULTING FROM ANY PART OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, (K) ANY LOST/DELAYED DATA TRANSMISSIONS, OMISSIONS, INTERRUPTIONS, DEFECTS, AND/OR ANY OTHER ERRORS OR MALFUNCTIONS, (L) ANY WRONGFUL, NEGLIGENT, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACT OR OMISSIONS ON THE PART OF ANY OF THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES, OR ANY OF THEIR AGENTS OR EMPLOYEES, OR (M) ANY OTHER CAUSE, CONDITION OR EVENT WHATSOEVER BEYOND THE CONTROL OF ANY ONE OR MORE OF THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES. EACH WINNER HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES HAVE NEITHER MADE NOR ARE IN ANY MANNER RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE PRIZE OR ANY COMPONENT THEREOF, INCLUDING ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIE PROVIDED BY ANY PRIZE SUPPLIER ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on blondeambition.mtv.com and the Prizes may be awarded to winners to be selected from among all Eligible Entries received up until and or after (if applicable) the time of modification, cancellation or termination or in a manner that is fair and equitable as determined by MTVN.

10. Request for Names of the Winners and Official Rules: For the names of the Winners and/or Official Rules, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to:



All requests for a copy of the Official Rules and for the names of the Winners must be made by December 31, 2008. Please note on the front left-hand corner of your outer envelope whether you are requesting "Official Rules" or the names of the "Winners". Vermont residents may omit return postage if requesting a set of Official Rules.

11. Privacy: Personal information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be treated in accordance with these Official Rules and MTVN's Privacy Policy located at www.cmt.com. Additionally, if an entrant chooses to opt-in to receive additional email communication from a participating Sweepstakes Entity, MTVN shall share entrant's personal information with that Sweepstakes Entity and such personal information shall be subject to that Sweepstakes Entity's privacy policy and terms of service (if applicable). Respective privacy policies of Sweepstakes Entities participating in opt-ins will be accessible from Sweepstakes entry page. Opting in to specific offers does not improve one's chances of winning.
