Rules

1. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Open to legal residents of the continental United States who are 21 years of age or older.

2. To enter: The sweepstakes will be posted on CMT.com, a website owned and controlled by Country Music Television Inc. an MTV Networks, a division of Viacom International, Inc. (collectively "MTVN"), starting at or around 12:00 AM (CT) on February 19, 2007 and ending at 11:59 PM (CT) on March 23, 2007 (the "Sweepstakes"). Participants must fill out the required fields on the Sweepstakes entry form to be entered into a random drawing (collectively "Eligible Entries"). There will be one (1) grand prize winner (the "Grand Prize Winner") selected, ten (10) first prize winners (each "First Prize Winner"), one hundred twenty (120) second prize winners (each "Second Prize Winner") and three hundred (300) third prize winners (each "Third Prize Winner") and collectively all of the foregoing shall be referred to herein as the "Winners". Participants must complete all required data requested on the entry form. Incomplete, inaccurate or indecipherable entry forms are void. Limit of one entry per person per each day of the Sweepstakes. If an entrant uses multiple e-mail addresses to submit more than one online entry for a given day during the Sweepstakes, only the first on-line entry for that day will be accepted. By entering, each participant acknowledges compliance with each provision of these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. Sponsors are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail transcription or transmission or receipt or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of MTVN which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, safety or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes or for any reason Sponsors deem it necessary, then Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date of the Sweepstakes, then MTVN will post notice on CMT.com and conduct a random drawing from among all Eligible Entries received as of the date of termination, in order to determine the Winners. Any and all Sweepstakes entries that have been tampered with or altered are void. In the event of a dispute over who submitted any entry that is selected to receive a Sweepstakes prize, then the holder of the e-mail account from which such entry was submitted will be declared the person who is entitled to receive such Sweepstakes prize.

Prizing:
One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a prize consisting of the following:
Round-trip, coach class air transportation for the Grand Prize Winner and one (1) guest from a major airport that is nearest the Grand Prize Winner's residence (at MTVN's discretion) to Nashville, TN.; (MTVN reserves the right to substitute ground transportation for air transportation if the Grand Prize Winner resides within 150 miles of the destination); and Non-exclusive Limo Airport/Hotel transfers in Nashville, TN; and Two (2) nights' luxury hotel accommodations (at a hotel selected by MTVN in its sole discretion) for the Grand Prize Winner and (1) guest (one room, double occupancy, room and tax only; meals, telephone calls and all other incidentals are not included and are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner); and A "Your Very Own Rider" with choice of flowers, beverages and snacks (at MTVN's discretion) for the Grand Prize Winner's luxury hotel room; and A Red Carpet limo arrival and walk with a "Rising Star" (a Rising Star(s) shall refer to herein as a rising country music artist(s) who will be selected solely by Sponsor) at the entrance of the 2007 CMT Music Awards; and Two (2) VIP tickets to the 2007 CMT Music Awards; and Hair styling and makeup application, pre show activity with a "Rising Star", and Nashville $500 shopping spree with a "Rising Star" and a stylist, for the perfect Red Carpet outfit; $500 spending money; and Attend a VIP private "Rising Star" concert with VIP seating on Sunday night before the 2007 CMT Music Awards show.

The Grand Prize Winner must be available to travel on dates specified by Sponsor (between Sunday, April 15, 2007 and Tuesday, April 17, 2007). All trip expenses not listed above are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. The Grand Prize Winner additionally will be responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes relating to the receipt and/or use of the grand prize and any component(s) thereof. The tentative dates for the grand prize trip fulfillment are subject to change, at MTVN's sole and unequivocal discretion. The approximate retail value ("ARV") of the Grand Prize is $5,499.00.

Ten (10) First Prize Winners will each receive a prize consisting of the following:
One (1) Limited Edition electric Guitar signed by "Rising Stars".

The aggregate ARV of the First Prize is $5,000.00.

One Hundred Twenty (120) Second Prize Winners will each receive a prize consisting of the following:
One (1) CD from an assorted collection of CDs by "Rising Stars".

The aggregate ARV of the Second Prize is $2,277.60.

Three Hundred (300) Third Prize Winners will each receive a prize consisting of the following:
One (1) box of Garnier Nutrisse haircolor.

The aggregate ARV of the Third Prize is $2,187.00.

The aggregate ARV for all prize packages to be awarded in this Sweepstakes is $14,963.60. However, the actual retail value of this Sweepstakes depends on currently existing market conditions at the time of prize fulfillment.

3. Odds of winning any prize in this Sweepstakes will be determined by the total number of Eligible Entries received.

4. By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to be bound by each provision of these Official Rules and by the decisions of MTVN, which shall be final, binding and non-appealable in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.

5. The Winners will be chosen by means of a random drawing (presently scheduled) to be conducted by MTVN on or about March 24, 2007 from among all of the Eligible Entries received by CMT.com. A representative of MTVN will contact a potential Winners by telephone and/or e-mail (as determined by MTVN in its sole discretion). MTVN will make no more than two (2) attempts to call or e-mail the potential Winners over a forty-eight (48)-hour period. Upon notification, the potential Winners must confirm identity and eligibility. If any potential Winner is unreachable, or if there is no response from any potential Winner (no voicemail will be left), then MTVN will select an alternate, potential Winner by means of a subsequently conducted random drawing from among all remaining Eligible Entries.

6. The specifics of all elements of any prize in the Sweepstakes shall be determined solely by MTVN (in its sole discretion). Some restrictions may apply. Both the Grand Prize Winner and his/her guest/travel companion must be 21 years of age or older at the time of entry and must sign liability/publicity and guest/performer releases prior to commencing travel in fulfillment of the Grand Prize. No substitution or transfer or cash redemption of any prize (or any part of the Grand Prize package) or cash alternative will be permitted, except solely by MTVN due to prize unavailability at the time of award, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Unless specified otherwise in writing by MTVN, no cash will be awarded. Arrangements for the fulfillment of prizes will be made by MTVN. As a prerequisite for receiving the any prize, the potential Winners must complete, sign and return to MTVN, within 48 hours after MTVN's request therefor and presentation thereof, (a) an affidavit of eligibility and release of each of the Sponsors and their affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, judgments, and causes of action for personal injury and/or damage, theft, or loss suffered in connection with this Sweepstakes promotion or the use or acceptance of any prize (or any portion thereof); (b) where permitted, a promotional release granting to each of the Sponsors and their affiliates the right to use such Winner's name and likeness for any and all advertising, marketing, promotional and publicity purposes, without additional compensation; and (c) all legal documents that MTVN may require (in its sole discretion). Failure of any potential Winner to complete, sign and return to MTVN such affidavit, release(s) and legal documentation within such 48 hour period shall result in his/her disqualification from the Sweepstakes, in which event an alternative, potential Winner will be selected by means of another random drawing subsequently to be conducted by MTVN from among all remaining Eligible Entries. Entry in this Sweepstakes constitutes each potential Winner's agreement to sign such release. The receipt by the Winner of any of the prize components of this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon his/her compliance with any and all applicable federal, state and local rules and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER (AS DETERMINED BY MTVN AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION FROM ANY FURTHER PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, AND ALL BENEFITS AND PRIVILEGES POTENTIALLY TO BE ACCORDED TO SUCH WINNER WILL BE TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY, IRREVOCABLY AND PERPETUALLY.

7. The value of the Grand Prize will be taxable as income to the Grand Prize Winner. Upon receipt of the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize Winner will be liable for any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes that may become due with respect to the receipt and/or use of such grand prize. The value of the other prize packages may be taxable as income to any such Winners. Upon receipt of the other prize packages, the respective Winners will be liable for any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes that may become due with respect to the receipt and/or use of such prize package.

8. This Sweepstakes is open to CMT.com users who are residing citizens of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia and who are at least 21 years of age at time of entry. Any potential Winner is subject to proving eligibility, including verification of social security number. If any potential Winner cannot furnish verifiable and valid proof of age within 48 hours after being notified of his/her entry selection, then MTVN will select an alternate, potential Winner by means of another random drawing subsequently to be conducted from among all remaining Eligible Entries. This Sweepstakes is not open to employees, or to their immediate family members, of Sponsors and their affiliates, and this Sweepstakes is not open to any person who has won a CMT Networks national contest or sweepstakes in the preceding twelve (12)-month period. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. All Sweepstakes entries and related materials become the exclusive property of MTVN and will be neither acknowledged nor returned to the entrants. 9. All interpretations and decisions under these Official Rules by Sponsors are final, binding and non-appealable in all respects. MTVN reserves the right, exercisable in its sole discretion at any time, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or the CMT.com website; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL DELIBERATELY TO DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT (EXERCISABLE IN THEIR SOLE DISCRETION AT ANY TIME) TO SEEK AND OBTAIN DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. THE NEW YORK COURTS (STATE AND FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE EXCLUSIVE PERSONAL AND SUBJECT MATTER JURISDICTION AND VENUE OF ANY CONTROVERSY, DISPUTE OR OTHER LEGAL PROCEEDING REGARDING THE SWEEPSTAKES, AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK SHALL GOVERN THE SWEEPSTAKES. EACH ENTRANT HEREBY IRREVOCABLY AND PERPETUALLY WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THOSE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMITS TO THE EXCLUSIVE PERSONAL AND SUBJECT MATTER JURISDICTION AND VENUE OF THOSE COURTS.

For a copy of the list of the actual Winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: CMT Integrated Marketing Department, 2007 CMT Music Awards Sweepstakes 1515 Broadway 20th Floor, New York, NY 10036. All such requests must be received by no later than December 31, 2007. Residents of the State of Vermont may omit return postage.

11. The Winners hereby irrevocably and perpetually agree that neither Sponsors nor any of their respective affiliates or employees shall have any liability in connection with such Winner's acceptance or use of any prize awarded in this Sweepstakes.

12. This Sweepstakes is sponsored by CMT: Country Music Television, Inc., an MTV Networks company, a division of Viacom International, Inc., and by Garnier Nutrisse, Consumer Products Division of L'Oreal USA, and by SonyBMG.
