40th Annual CMA Awards Summary

Back in Nashville the show is once again hosted by Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn. But the hosts are also the night's big winners. Not only do they aquire another vocal duo award, but their hit, "I Believe," wins single and music video of the year. Ronnie Dunn earns a fourth award for co-writing the song of the year winner with Craig Wiseman. Brad Paisley's Time Well Wasted earns the album of the year, and his duet with Dolly Parton, "When I Get Where I'm Going," wins musical event of the year. American Idol alumn Carrie Underwood receives both the Horizon Award and female vocalist. Kenny Chesney regains his title of entertainer of the year while Keith Urban accepts his second male vocalist trophy. Musician Harold Bradley joins singers George Strait and Sonny James as this year's inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
